Non-Ferrous Metals

What We DON’T Buy

Household Hazardous Waste: Items like paint cans, chemical containers, and aerosol cans.

Non-Metal Items: Plastics, wood, glass, and rubber.

Certain Electronics: Many scrapyards do not accept CRT TVs and monitors, due to hazardous materials.

Asbestos-Containing Materials: Insulation, tiles, and other materials containing asbestos.

Radioactive Materials: Items with radioactive components such as smoke detectors.

Pressurized Containers: Propane tanks, fire extinguishers, and other pressurized containers unless properly emptied and depressurized.

Whole Appliances with Non-Metal Parts: Refrigerators and freezers without freon removal, microwaves with capacitors.

Municipal Waste: General household trash and debris.

Contaminated or Dirty Scrap: Metal contaminated with oil, grease, or other substances.

Stolen Goods: Items suspected to be stolen, such as manhole covers or copper wire.
